While Imperial is rightly famous for its research and teaching excellence, it’s sometimes easy to forget that the College is also running a 2,500 bed accommodation service; keeping the equivalent of a small town going in terms energy demand; maintaining many hectares of estate; and offering a selection of food outlets to rival most shopping malls.
