Affinity Apparel bought Scottsdale, Ariz.-based DragonTech Manufacturing Co.

Fairborn-based Affinity Apparel on Wednesday said it bought Scottsdale, Ariz.-based DragonTech Manufacturing Co., which is known for making protective clothing for the oil and gas industries.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

This is the second recent acquisition for Affinity Apparel, which purchased Georgia-based Riverside Manufacturing last fall. Riverside specializes in electrical safety apparel.

Michael DiMino, CEO of Affinity Apparel, told me this latest purchase means the company now has uniforms that cover all safety certifications

“So now we can walk into an industrial site and we can do a very good job of offering a full range of uniforms,” DiMino said. “It rounds out the product line very nicely.”
