Further demonstrating its commitment to stylish and wearable apparel designs, Cintas today announced that nine of its customers have received nominations for the prestigious Image of the Year (IOY) awards. The IOY award program annually recognizes leaders in the corporate uniform and apparel industry.

"Earning nine IOY nominations is a reflection of the collaboration between Cintas' designers, support teams and customers," said Brian Garry, senior director of marketing, Global Accounts and Strategic Markets of Cintas. "We work closely with our customers to better understand their brand, program objectives and employee job functions to enhance the design process. It is an honor to have these programs nominated for a notable accolade like the IOY awards."

Cintas customers received nominations in four categories, including casinos, healthcare, hotels multi-location and hotels single-location. Cintas customer nominees include: Aliante Station Casinos, Ameristar Casino East Chicago, Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Hilton Garden Inn, Stanford Medicine Outpatient Center, Somerset Medical Center, Meridian Health System and the Lodge at Pebble Beach.

This year's award winners will join a long list of Cintas customers that previously won IOY awards, including W Hotels, Planet Hollywood, Wynn LasVegas, Table Mountain Casino, MGM Grand, Dairy Queen, United Airlines and Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. Last year's Cintas customers that won IOY awards include NYLO Hotels, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Silversea Cruises and Centra Care - Florida Hospital's Urgent Care.

The IOY awards will be presented by the North-American Association of Uniform Manufacturers and Distributors (NAUMD).  Winners will be announced April 25th in Las Vegas during the 2009 annual banquet and awards dinner held during its annual convention.
