 Cintas Corporation today introduced true women’s sized professional apparel designed for sizes 16W to 32W. As the first and only uniform company to offer true women's sizing across all product lines, Cintas’ new line is designed with unique proportions, different from misses, to provide a better fit.
“More than 62 percent of women in the U.S. wear a size 12 or larger,” said Christine Ward, Senior Manager of Technical Design. “Today, uniform apparel manufacturers offer larger sizes as an extension of their misses’ lines, which can be tight and poorly fitted. Cintas’ new women’s sizes are approximately 1 ½” – 2 ½” larger in the bust, waist and hips, providing women greater comfort.”
Cintas’ women’s sizing options currently include a selection of tailored dress apparel such as stylish skirts, slacks and blazers. The women’s sizing selection will be extended to other product categories over the next year. Unlike traditional workplace apparel, the women’s line offers sizes and styles that are consistent with retail selections, giving women confidence and satisfaction with their uniform.
In conjunction with the launch, Cintas also introduced “The Style Plus Confidence Campaign” to celebrate professional women of all sizes by providing workplace apparel that inspires confidence and comfort.
