Handy Do and Don’t Guide on Attachments Now Available from Scovill Print E-mail

Scovill Fasteners, Inc. announced today the availability of a handy reference guide covering key do and don’t rules that contribute to making quality attachments of fasteners on jeans and general apparel applications. The reference guide, illustrated with drawings and simple straight forward explanations, can be posted throughout the sewing factory, providing an easy reference work for personnel at all levels helping them to understand the fundamentals of a secure attachment.

The guide will be an important reference work in a total quality system geared to meeting legislated requirements for safety such as those established by the CPSIA and regulatory agencies of the European Union, as well as to help in minimizing reworks and seconds that are often the result of substandard attachments.
