It follows an $11 million deal between Fabcricato and the Chilean military last year. "This time it deals with a contract for $3 million to continue supplying the uniforms, which in this instance would be some 10,000 to 15,000 outfits," said Fabcricato president Juan Carlos Cadavid. He added, "This is very valuable because this is now the second order they have made. The military institutions contract suppliers for short periods and obviously one has to continue to demonstrate competitiveness in order to maintain a presence." The company president said that the goal for this year was to implement and make the most of the $30 million investment they are making in the modernization and restructuring technology. In an interview with La Republica, Cadavid said his company grew by at least 10% in 2011. Original article posted at colombiareports.com.
