Nashville, TN – May 27, 2016 – The North-American Association of Uniform Manufacturers and Distributors (NAUMD) awarded their Image of the Year Awards to the best image apparel programs in the United States and Canada. Awards are given by category of business type. Judges from the fashion industry award points for originality, meeting client objectives and overall design. “A well designed program incorporates something memorable about the look and promotes the company’s brand, while balancing the need for comfort and functionality for the employees that wear it,” said Neal Waters, President of the NAUMD.
From the categories, a Best of the Best is chosen. This year’s big winner is Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, CA from the category Hotel – Single Location. Cintas Corporation is the creator and service provider for the program. The partnership between Monarch Beach Resort and Cintas produced a design that combined the light and airy beach look with a certain formality expected from a luxury beach resort that overlooks the Pacific Ocean.
