West Grove, PA – Jack Esser, VP of Sourcing at Dansko will retire in July. During his 6 year tenure with Dansko , Jack directed the expansion of the brand's manufacturing base, the introduction of new constructions and the establishment of the company's first offshore office. To succeed him as VP of Sourcing, Jeff Dougherty will join Dansko on May 2, 2011, bringing more than 30 years experience in the footwear business. He most recently served as Vice President and General Manager of Kenneth Cole Productions in China. Jeff previously held senior management positions with Nike, Timberland, Cole Haan and Ariat and has expertise in leather & raw material purchasing, costing, product development, quality assurance and sourcing worldwide.
