LAS VEGAS, Oct. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Flameret, Inc. FLRE, a leading provider of flame retardant products to various industries, today announced that it is significantly upgrading its revenue projections for calendar year 2012. Based on a comprehensive review of potential sales channels, industry estimates and initial interest from licensees and distributors, the company projects revenues of $45,000,000 for the calendar year 2012. According to management's projections and estimates based on the current pipeline, the company also estimated that gross margins will equate or potentially exceed 60% for the same year.

Initial revenues are expected from licensees and distributors in the United States and Canada, but the company also expects to begin realizing revenues from Europe and Asia later in the same year. The company is receiving significant interest from the work-wear apparel sector and the marine sector for its proprietary flame retardant solutions. Approximately $25,000,000 of the $45,000,000 will be derived from applications within the work-wear apparel sector and the remainder will be received from sale of marine products and general retail products.

Christopher Glover, Chief Executive Officer of Flameret, remarked, "We are getting overwhelming interest from many of our business partners, including interest from one of the largest apparel manufacturers in North America. As we previously announced, there is also strong interest in our products from the Pacific Rim."

Mr. Glover concluded his statement by saying, "We hope to deliver more good news to the market in the near future."

Flameret's existing product pipeline includes Flamex™ (a textile fire retardant product, Ultra Flamex™ (a fire retardant product for woods and metals) and Impex™ (a fire retardant product for fire extinguishers and aerosols). All of Flameret's product lines are non-toxic, non-staining and odorless.

The worldwide market for flame retardant products is expected to surpass $5.8 billion in 2018.
