Dana Safety Supply out of Greensboro, N.C. only provided specific bid amounts for two out of eight items on the uniform list. Also on Tuesday night, the council carried over the decision for a bid award to the construction company who will be building the city's new Nutrition Center. The council plans to vote on the issue at the next session in order to get clarification on a few items. The council also heard the first reading of an ordinance that would rezone property at the east right of way of South Brundidge Street and the north right of way of Madison Street.
