WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita Police Department announced it is transitioning to new uniforms.

Over the next two years, the current tan uniforms will be replaced with navy blue shirts and pants.

Current tan uniforms can vary widely between officers, with different options available in the winter and summer months. The new uniforms will be available in different fits and materials, allowing officers to find combinations that work well for them. Even with differences, the new uniforms will look the same.
