Armor manufacturer NP Aerospace has recently announced a new partnership with Canadian uniform supplier Logistik Unicorp. The collaboration combines NP Aerospace’s expertise in ballistic protection with Logistik Unicorp’s experience in military clothing and gear. Together, they aim to deliver fully integrated soldier systems for defense, police, and security forces.

The partnership has already seen success. The two companies recently secured a contract to supply the Canadian Army with 3,000 advanced gear kits under the Dismounted Infantry Capability Enhancement (DICE) program. The kits include ballistic armor, tactical vests, backpacks, pouches, and other modular equipment.

While the initial focus is on UK-based forces, the joint solution is designed for global export. One of the key opportunities ahead is the UK Ministry of Defence’s upcoming rebid for its Virtus torso subsystem program.

Customers will benefit from a complete, ready-to-deploy solution that integrates armor and apparel. The companies promise cost-effective production, lifecycle support, and performance that meets modern mission needs.

The partnership will also support UK defense manufacturing by creating skilled jobs, investing in research, and boosting local supply chains.

Logistik Unicorp’s VP of client experience, Karine Bibeau, said the partnership delivers a unified system that balances protection, comfort, and functionality.

NP Aerospace CEO James Kempston said the two companies offer unmatched capability and value, backed by deep experience with UK defense programs. He added that the combined offering is well positioned to meet future procurement needs efficiently and reliably.
