Kelly Rooney Takes Over as COO

Effective September 30th, 2024, Kelly Rooney joins UniFirst as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Rooney brings over 25 years of experience in large-scale B2B operations, most recently serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Waste Management, a $20 billion public company. Her focus will be on driving growth, enhancing customer service, and optimizing operations.

Michael Croatti to Transition from Executive Role

In November 2024, Michael Croatti, Executive Vice President, will transition from his full-time executive role. Croatti has been an integral part of UniFirst’s success for 35 years, fostering strong customer relationships and industry partnerships. He will remain involved in a consulting capacity, collaborating with Sintros on key initiatives.

“This decision allows me to spend more time with family,” said Croatti. “I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together at UniFirst.”
