AmeriPride Services, a leading supplier of linen and uniform rental services in North America, today announced the acquisition of a portion of Independent Linen’s laundry business in and surrounding Mont-Tremblant, Québec. The company’s Québec Linge branch in Montreal started servicing the new customer accounts on March 17th, 2014, under the leadership of Claude Jacques, General Manager.

“This acquisition provides a great opportunity to expand our market share in the area while introducing new products and services to the customers,” said Michel Matte, VP of Québec Operations. “We feel this is a big win for our company and our new customers.”

The companies are executing a seamless transition of the customers to Québec Linge. Service representatives from both companies have been visiting with customers and QuébecLinge has indicated it will work hard to build and maintain strong partnerships with its new customers.

“I am very confident in our ability to successfully service our new customers,” said Claude Jacques. “Our Montreal production facility has the capacity and resources to take on the additional volume, and we are eager to incorporate the new customers into our business.”

AmeriPride is one of the few privately owned and operated companies serving this market. The family-owned business has been operating in the market for nearly 50 years.
