CHICAGO – [June 1, 2011] – Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS) today introduced its 2011 Uniform Book. Featuring more than 270 new styles, fits and colors, this updated style guide walks hospitality industry leaders through options to develop a comprehensive apparel program from the front of the house to the back of the house. Five lucky recipients of this year’s Uniform Book will also receive a “Golden Ticket,” providing a $1,000 discount toward the purchase of any uniform program.

“This year’s Uniform Book offers more than just uniforms. It gives hoteliers and brand managers the opportunity to become more intimate with the design process and better understand how an apparel program comes to life,” said Kristin Sharp, Director of Design and Merchandising at Cintas. “From direct sale to rental apparel options, it showcases a variety of garments to fit any style or budget.”

Organized by department, the 2011 Uniform Book opens each section with a style overview offering suggestions on how to create a consistent look. It also provides helpful hints and considerations for developing department-specific programs. For example, brand identity, seasonal comfort and modifications are a few of the key considerations hoteliers should keep in mind when identifying a program for front door staff.

Quick Response (QR) Codes and Microsites are also located throughout the catalog, linking readers to online videos and other resources that make purchasing and maintaining an apparel program even easier. Clearly labeled icons also guide readers through the catalog, offering an easily identifiable symbol for different types of items, including eco-friendly fabrics or selections with women’s sizing available.

“We took the concepts and value added information presented in this year’s Uniform Book a step beyond what you find in traditional catalogs,” added Jamie Overbey, Director of Marketing and Strategy at Cintas. “Developing and maintaining a quality apparel program is a process. We hope this will serve as a guide through that process, enabling our customers to realize the vision of their new program.”

With a team of designers, style consultants, account managers and apparel experts, Cintas offers hoteliers a personalized experience when developing a unique, apparel program. From designs that exude an urban edge to eco-fashions that enhance a property’s sustainability story, Cintas can develop an apparel program to fit the look of any hotel, brand, casino, or cruise line.
