Pinnacle Textile Industries LLC of King of Prussia, PA, a manufacturer of service apparel, aprons and napery to the rental and hospitality markets, has agreed to purchase most of the assets of Eagle Work Clothes, Union, NJ, a closely held manufacturer of industrial, healthcare and professional uniforms sold to textile rental operators, government agencies, distributors and retail establishments.

Eagle Work Clothes Inc. (EWC), established in 1946 by founder Moe and Perle Fruchter, and led by sons Josh and Dennis for the past several decades, has been among the industry leaders within the work apparel marketplace.

Pinnacle intends to continue the Eagle brand of industrial and professional work wear and the EWC and Medici brands of healthcare uniforms, as well as continue to operate the main production facility located in The Dominican Republic. In addition, Pinnacle will assume the EWC Florida Distribution Center, located in Hallandale, from which it will distribute both Pinnacle and EWC branded products.

Patrick Methven, Pinnacle’s President and founder commented, “The acquisition of Eagle goes a long way towards our goal of expanding our reach into the industrial and healthcare sectors, while at the same time expanding our product offering within our traditional customer base. The EWC level of quality, and its quick and personalized sales and service, is a perfect fit with a service centric business like Pinnacle.”

A November 1 transition is expected.
