March 3, 2009—SanMar Corporation, a leading supplier of imprintable apparel and accessories, today announced the opening of its new 525,000 square foot warehouse facility in Jacksonville, FL.
This new facility will serve as the regional shipping and inventory center for North and South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Florida, providing SanMar’s industry standard 1-2 day shipping service.
“By expanding our presence in Jacksonville, SanMar is able to increase our offering of products,” explains SanMar Vice President Jordan Lott, who also directed the construction project. “It’s our company commitment to offer the deepest on-hand inventory in the promotional products industry, so we’re excited to open up the largest warehouse serving the southeast.”
Located just 12 miles from the previous warehouse it is replacing, the new Jacksonville location is fully operational as of March 3 and is staffed by existing SanMar employees from the former Jacksonville location. The warehouse provides customer pick-up until 6:00 pm EST and guaranteed same day shipping on orders placed before 2:30 pm EST.
