MINNEAPOLIS — (Sept. 14, 2015) — AmeriPride Services, a leading textile rental services and supply company in North America, today announced the acquisition of Model Laundry in Thief River Falls, Minn. Effective September 1, 2015, AmeriPride began servicing their existing accounts out of its Hibbing branch and service centers, under the leadership of Dave Hardy, General Manager.
“We expect a smooth and seamless transition for the customers,” said John Sutherland, SVP of US Operations. “Our Hibbing production facility has the capacity and resources to take on the additional volume, and this acquisition is a great growth opportunity for us. It also provides an opportunity to introduce new products, services and online tools to the customers.”
AmeriPride has been serving the local market for over 100 years and like Model, AmeriPride is a privately-owned, Minnesota-based company. AmeriPride did not purchase property or equipment as a part of the sale. Other financial details related to the acquisition have not been released.
