Red the Uniform Tailor (RTUT) has been acquired by Miami-based ICO Uniforms on December 14, 2022. Last month, the company made an announcement on its website. Information about the acquisition was kept private.
One of the industry leaders in image and business apparel, ICO specializes in modern uniforms that combine style, utility, efficiency, and sustainability. Additionally, their supply chain-flexible approach to production enables customers to creatively, sustainably, and continually dress the people who bring their brand to life and propel their organization forward. Their global collaborations include a diverse portfolio of hospitality and corporate brands.
For more than 40 years, Red the Uniform Tailor has designed, produced, and distributed uniforms to the hospitality sector. It offered customers personalized service and a respected line of private label made-to-measure high-quality uniforms and related apparel. With the acquisition, RTUT will be able to take advantage of ICO’s extensive and continuously modern in-stock line, global manufacturing strategy, and internal resources to offer all customers a superior consistent experience.
The Canadian company Unisync acquired the hospitality division of RTUT in 2019 and recently sold the brand to ICO Uniforms.
