ODESSA – Odessa Police officers are revamping their style.
They’ve had the same uniforms for more than 10 years and now new uniforms have been issued.
In the past few months, Odessa Police tested and tried out eight different types from three manufacturers.
They landed on the 5-11 tactical series.
The patrol officers will be sporting more flexible and breathable materials with a lot more pockets.
“I feel comfortable in these new uniforms, more the fact that they are more tactical,” Cpl. Jessica Valenzuela with the Odessa Police Department, said.
