Tom Watson’s team for the Ryder Cup will be decked out in stripes and some subtle stars when the Americans tee off in Scotland this month.

Ralph Lauren is the official outfitter of the PGA of America for the Ryder Cup team through 2020. USA TODAY Sports got a preview of the uniforms that were unveiled Wednesday. Fans can buy pieces from the collection, and a portion of the proceeds will support PGA professionals.

“Perhaps the most exciting part of this partnership is Ralph Lauren’s shared commitment to our PGA professionals who grow, teach and manage the game,” PGA of America CEO Pete Bevacqua said.

Polos in white and navy will feature a band of 12 stars at the shoulder to represent the importance of each team member. The words “United We Stand” are embroidered into the shirts.

With a nod to the hosts, the U.S. team will wear Black Watch plaid in green and navy on Saturday.

Watson, captain of the U.S. team, has had a long relationship with the designer. He became a Polo Golf Ambassador in 1993. That’s the same year he was captain of the last team to win the Ryder Cup trophy on foreign soil.
