Australia’s regional airline Rex is all set to make its debut into the metro market through Sydney-Melbourne flight which is set to take off on March 1.

Following Easter, Brisbane will be added to its capital city network.

TO celebrate and get ready for these prestigious city-to-city services, the airline acquired new planes and revamped the crew uniforms.

In order to service its new domestic metro services, Rex has leased six Boeing 737-800NG aircrafts.

As for their new cabin crew uniforms, they have retained the essence of their signature country hospitality while making them classy and elegant. All their uniforms are designed in-house as opposed to using a designer.

“We are very proud that our uniforms are not designed by any famous designer. As with everything else we do in Rex, we have done everything in-house, from the design to the selection of material. This is who we are. This is what we do,” says Rex’s National Flight Attendant Manager, Donna Griffith.

In what is believed to be the biggest shake-up in 20 years, Rex airline will compete with the biggies like Qantas and Virgin Australia for a share of the country’s busiest route, which is also the second busiest route in the world after South Korea’s Seol-Joju route.
