The 2014 NAUMD “Winning Strategic Alliances” Convention & Expo will begin April 3 and continue through April 6. This year’s annual convention is held in Las Vegas. Antendees will be staying at either Bally’s or The Paris hotels, along the famous Vegas strip.
The keynote speaker appearing at the Welcome Breakfast April 4 is former top cop William Bratton. Bratton seems to makes headlines wherever he goes, and he’s bound to make news at the 2014 convention. Bratton will share his insights and expertise on a range of topics that include technology, productivity, management and public safety.
William Bratton is known as one of America’s premier police chiefs, the only person to have led two of the largest police forces in the United States – the New York City Police Department and the Los Angeles Police Department. Currently, he heads The Bratton Group LLC, a consulting firm with clients from both the pubic and private sectors.
The industry breakfast address will be given by Jack Carew. Carew is the author of “You’ll Never Get No for an Answer,” and “The Mentor”. Carew is the founder of Carew International, a world reknown sales training organization and will share his patented “Positional Selling Strategies for Success” with convention goers.
The latest fashions and sharpest looks will be on display at Friday evening’s Public Safety and Image of the Year Awards banquet. Awards will be handed out to winners of the 2014 Image of the Year and Best Dressed Public Safety Competitions.
NAUMD’s two-day exhibit brings targeted buyers and sellers together in one place and at one time. For the exhibitor, it’s a chance to increase name recognition, generate leads and close sales. And the show provides attendees with a “feel” for a supplier’s product, giving them a chance to view new technology and speak with reps from competing companies.
