Currently celebrating 60 years in business, Dempsey Uniform & Linen of New Jersey LLC has recently account that it has acquired the assets of W.H. Linen & Supply Co. Inc.

Though terms of the deal were not disclosed, Dempsey is known for leveraging the latest technology to better serve their customers while helping them control the costs of products. They also supply restaurant linen to restaurants and contract food service companies through the Mid-Atlantic and the Northeast.

With this acquisition, Dempsey says it can help build on W.H. Linen’s success by bringing its own commitment to high performance to the table. The goal is to continue providing the highest quality linens to the finest dining establishments in the U.S.

“W.H. Linen was a highly respected organization with a solid reputation for delivering high-quality products and excellent customer service,” says Kristin Dempsey, vice president of sales and service. “We’re pleased that so many of their people are joining the Dempsey family of employees.”

“We have a great base of operations at the former W.H. Linen plant in Clifton, and we will continue to service customers in New York City and Northern New Jersey from this location,” says P.J. Dempsey, president. “We will also invest in additional equipment, technology and products that will make our offering even stronger.

“At Dempsey, we want restaurants to be able to concentrate on their customers and employees while our restaurant linen service runs seamlessly in the background.”

After acquiring W.H. Linen, Dempset now operates six locations between New York City and Washington, D.C. As a supplier of uniform rentals and linen services in New York City and Northern New Jersey during its 70-year history, W.H. Linen was also family-owned in Clifton, N.J.
