Superior Group of Companies, Inc. (SGC) announced today that Superior Identity will adopt the HPI (High Performance Identity) name, one of the leaders in the uniform industry, to help provide a greater depth of service to their customers.
David Schechter, former leader of Superior Identity and Executive Vice President of HPI since April 2018, has since been named the President of HPI and will lead the combined division as well as its customer support, design and innovation centers in Georgia and Florida.
“We look forward to further establishing the combined HPI as the industry leader in clothing America’s customer facing workforce, building on the successes achieved by both divisions. The dedicated and highly talented team throughout the combined HPI will be the key to our continued growth,” noted David Schechter.
Ben Alpert, who began his career at SGC in 2008 and also served as Vice President, Strategic Development, will join HPI as Senior Vice President of Business Development to help lead the sales organization to support nationwide customers in all markets.
