In a significant brand refresh initiative, Caribbean Airlines (CAL) revealed its newly designed uniforms, a collaborative effort by the airline’s cabin crew and staff, produced by local design house Janouras Custom Design Ltd. The contemporary collection includes jackets, skirts, shirts, waistcoats, and pants in vibrant shades of purple, fuchsia, white, pink, and grey, departing from the previous navy and aquamarine uniforms.

The uniform unveiling, a highlight of CAL’s Customer Appreciation Event at the Hyatt Regency, Trinidad, marked the final phase of the brand refresh that commenced in 2019. Earlier phases included a new livery, logo, and overall branding for the airline’s fleet.

Caribbean Airlines CEO, Garvin Medera, took the opportunity to outline the airline’s plans for 2024. Pending regulatory approval, CAL intends to strengthen its Caribbean presence by introducing flights to Puerto Rico, the British Virgin Islands, Martinique, and Guadeloupe. Additionally, plans are underway to expand Jetpak, CAL’s skybox courier service, to Guyana, Barbados, and Jamaica. Medera also announced upcoming enhancements to the Caribbean Miles program, featuring lower redemption rates and a redesign of CAL’s boarding passes later in the year.

The new uniforms not only signify a visual transformation for CAL but also represent a sense of unity and creativity among the airline’s employees.
