Officers of the White Settlement, Texas police department have new, more casual uniforms. The color is designed to stand out, as a safety feature, and also features reflective strips.
White Settlement, Texas are overall supportive of the new uniforms, though some think the new uniforms make the officers look like Dominoes pizza delivery drivers.
Abigail Allen McDonald says, “If I was from out of town I would be confused as to if they were a legit police uniform. Some of your vehicles don’t have the top lights either which would farther my hesitation. Not to overthink this, but why that color blue? Is there something that will connect the color to something to White Settlement. Brewer is a dark blue, and the picture makes the uniform look almost aqua or Caribbean blue.”
