Istanbul Airport has become the first airport in the world to provide its staff with antimicrobial, antiviral, and antibacterial uniforms.

As covered by us earlier, Keyvan Aviation, the premier uniform supplier for Istanbul Airport, produced the world’s first antimicrobial and antiviral airline crew uniforms.

With their cooperation, Istanbul Airport is now providing its staff members with state-of-the-art uniforms in a bid to fight the ongoing pandemic.

The fabric used in these uniforms incorporates a silver ion technology that effectively suppresses the multiplying of a virus.

Innovations like these are the need of the hour with the ongoing pandemic still ravaging the world at large. The uniforms designed by Keyvan Aviation are tailor-made and consist of a shirt, trouser, jacket, waist bag, and shoes for a higher level of safety to the wearers and people around them.

In addition to being antimicrobial and antiviral, the uniform’s fabrics also come with comfortable, skin-friendly, breathable, and anti-odor features.

These uniforms are made with safety as the highest priority, while not compromising on design and functionality.

Mehmet Keyvan, the Chief Executive Officer of Keyvan Aviation, said, “We are pleased to have a chance serving to one of the biggest airports around the world. We will continue to improve our products to keep air and ground crews happy.”

IGA Istanbul Airport has also released a statement expressing their satisfaction with Keyvan Aviation’s cooperation.

It was also mentioned that the airport takes safety and hygiene at the highest importance for both the passengers as well as the employees inside the terminal.

Keyvan Aviation is headquartered in Istanbul and is involved in commercial and private aviation by providing consultation for private jet, aviation fashion, and aviation management.
