A.Ronai design and production manager David Sprakes has revealed that the firm has launched its new Uniforms by Ronai catalog at Gulfood this year.
He said that the catalog includes a selection of styles designed to cover all departments within the hospitality industries – ranging from kitchens, work ware, spas, accessories and so on.
In an interview with Caterer Middle East, Sprakes said: “One of the things we’ve done in the catalog is that, as well as standard styles, we have what we call our garment builders. That allows the customer to design their own garment so there is a menu, if you will, of styles and details they can choose from.”
In addition, there is a selection of fabrics and colors, so firms can have a hand in making a bespoke garment for their hotel or restaurant or business. Sprakes added: “We obviously do a lot of bespoke work with customers but this is a more fast-tracked service, so people don’t have to wait for designs when we’re busy.”
As an advantage to its customers, the turnaround time is very quick and minimum orders are very low.
The Uniforms by Ronai catalog is now expanded to reflect the kind of work A.Ronai carries out in the hospitality industry. “We’ve had, for the last couple of years, a more limited chefs and kitchen catalogue, so this is really born out of everything we do across the whole board in uniforms. We’ve expanded our kitchen collection, still includes Oliver Harvey, but we’ve expanded our kitchen and chef’s section so we now have four standards of chefs jackets to choose from.
