Accent Group set to launch a workwear retail brand

Accent Group, a footwear and fashion giant is all set to launch 4Workers, a new retail brand that is focused on workwear and gear.

The 4Workers brand’s primary focus will be on the healthcare, hospitality, construction, and corporate gear.

Its first store will be opened in May, with the design made to appeal female shoppers.

Accent Group revealed the brand and launch details to in a presentation to investors and analysts on March 25, 2021.

It was also revealed that this brand is a significant opportunity to capture share in a fast-growing market. It is set to be a shopping center-based business.

4Workers is the latest brand to accompany Accent Group’s ever-growing portfolio of retail brands.

The presentation also revealed a strong half-year result in February. It has net profit after tax growing 57.3 per cent to $52.8 million off the back of digital sales doubling.

“They were perfectly placed to take advantage of the gold rush because they were all in before it hit,” Nathan Bush, founder of the Brisbane-based retail consultancy 12High, told Inside Retail.

“It is well known that Accent Group has heavily invested in team capabilities, technology, inventory visibility, and fulfilment options for many years. Covid was where they cashed in and accelerated.”

Accent Group chief executive Daniel Agostinelli said that they are all set to launch over 90 stores this financial year.
