Careismatic Brands, one of the largest designers and manufacturers of medical apparel in the world has launched a “19 Days of Gratitude” global campaign to support nurses and the DAISY foundation amid the pandemic.

This global tribute and fundraising campaign is being held to put a spotlight on the heroism of the nurses as they continue to put their lives at risk to battle COVID-19 on the front lines.

The campaign was launched to keep it in line with the World Health organization designating 2020 as the “International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife” in honor of the 200th birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale.

Careismatic Brand’s campaign will celebrate nurses by sharing 19 stories of brave and compassionate frontline nurses from around the world. One story will be shared every day for 19 days.

While the campaign is for celebrating the nursing community, it was also launched with an idea to raise money for the DAISY (Diseases Attacking the Immune System) Foundation. It is a worldwide organization that recognizes the incredible work and sacrifices of the nurses.

The campaign kickstarted with a moving tribute video “In The Year of The Nurse – A Tribute to Courage.” It was shot and produced by a Hollywood Creative Agency, Mob Scene.

“Health care professionals are selfless people who are putting themselves on the line to save people’s lives during this COVID-19 crisis and this campaign is a tribute to them,” said Michael Singer, CEO of Careismatic Brands. “Our mission at Careismatic Brands is to champion the people behind the scrubs, and we are honored to share this very meaningful tribute as a way to thank the people who have given so much hope and professional care – at much personal risk – to so many COVID patients during these extraordinary times.”

Charismatic Brands was also the first to initiate donations by providing $1 million worth of its Cherokee uniforms and Dickies Medical branded scrubs to health care workers. They have delivered scrubs to over 200 hospitals that are situated in the most affected areas.
