Colorep Promotes Bonnie Julian to VP, Hires Gavin McLachlan as Director of Sales

Rancho Cucamonga, CA, – Colorep, a world innovator in creating new printing and dyeing technologies, has promoted Bonnie Julian to vice president, textile division. The company has also hired Gavin McLachlan as worldwide director of sales for Transprint.

 

In her new position, Julian will have overall responsibility for the textile division of Colorep. She will also continue as vice president of design for Transprint, where she has been an executive for more than two decades.

 

McLachlan will oversee both domestic and international sales of Transprint’s heat transfer paper and of AirDye, the company’s sustainable alternative to traditional dyeing and decorating processes.

Gavin McLachlan is a leader in textile innovation. At WL Gore & Associates (Gore-Tex Fabrics), McLachlan developed Gore-Tex flame resistant fabrics for fire fighters, tactical law enforcement and other safety-related markets as well as a Gore-Tex line of medical textiles, used for non-disposable surgical gowns and drapes. After a decade with WL Gore, McLachlan founded Allergy Direct, Inc. a manufacturer and marketer of medical textiles and related products, later purchased by a Fortune 100 pharmaceutical company.

 

Most recently, McLachlan served as director of sales and marketing for CamelBak Products, the number one brand in personal hydration systems for cyclists, hikers and outdoor recreation lovers. Pioneering a brand new line of hydration systems for industrial/safety workers and the US military, the company increased revenues from $24 million to over $83 million in just three years.
