Workwear Express, which is based in Durham, has seen a surge in online sales since it enhanced its e-commerce capability and doubled its product range.
The firm, which specialises in personalised workwear, uniform and promotional clothing, has also teamed up with Gateshead-based Access Training to recruit more employees to service the rise in demand.
The employer has also taken on apprentices.
Set up in 1989 by managing director Andrew Ward, Workwear Express’ clients include Hovis, Nandos and The Works.
Deborah Davies, HR manager at Workwear Express explains: “The business is growing at an incredible pace and we are looking to take on more employees and invest in training.
