Thanks to a recently voted contract renewal, Gwinnett County public safety departments – including police, firefighters, corrections and sheriff – will be allowed to spend $510,000 on new uniforms.

The county’s document states, “a recent analysis reveals that there has been a slight increase in the cost of uniforms due to an increase in manufacturing, labor, and freight cost.”

GCPS will save $1,250 on new uniforms due to recent notifications.

The uniforms will be provided by various companies, such as Designlab, Inc., Galls, LLC, Stirling Promotions, Inc., The Target Group, Inc., Uniform Sales America, LLC., and Dana Safety Supply, Inc.
