Evanston, IL – October 28, 2020 – LYCRA, the fabrics giant, is set to announce its newest denim innovation, LYCRA® Anti-Slip Fiber, at this month’s Kingpins24-Amsterdam online event that’s scheduled for October 27th through October 30th.
Kingpins is transitioning its denim tradeshows to an online format for the third time this year due to the ongoing pandemic. Previous online events were held in April and September, which drew almost 4,000 live stream viewers and over 38,000 on-demand content views. The virtual expo will showcase trends and challenges that are causing the global denim industry to change across the world.
Leaders from LYCRA Company will play a key role in the event’s agenda with their newly appointed Chief Innovation Officer, Steve Stewart, to disclose the company’s innovation process.

Stewart will be presenting LYCRA® Anti-Slip Fiber and how the new denim seam slippage solution can be used for applications that involve single-core spandex fabrics, which require good durability and recovery.
The patent-pending fiber helps maintain the garment’s original appearance even after multiple washes and wear.
The LYCRA ® Anti-Slip fiber can be used in the core of LYCRA ® dualFX ® technology yarn, which further enhances anti-slippage performance.
Combining LYCRA ® Anti-Slip fiber and LYCRA ® T400 ® fiber, on the other hand, delivers the high stretch of LYCRA ® fiber with exceptional anti-slippage properties and the excellent recovery power of LYCRA ® T400 ® fiber.
