SINGAPORE: Singapore Customs officers at the entry checkpoints are donning new uniforms from Monday.
The new uniform consists of a short-sleeved white shirt or blouse with tie, shoulder flaps, epaulettes, belt and name tag, and also comes with a midnight blue outer jacket, matching pants or skirts, and black shoes.
The uniform was designed by the officers for comfort.
Singapore Customs says the jacket suits are made of light-weight material but will keep officers warm in air-conditioned environments.
