England – These snazzy new uniforms will be worn by Thames Valley Police officers from next January.
The uniforms have been unveiled in a bid to bring the force more up-to-date and approachable and follows uniform changes at others around the country.
Officers will replace the white shirt, black tie, office trousers and helmet with a black breathable shirt, along with black combat trousers and flat caps for men.
The bowler-style hat will still remain for women and there will be no change for office-based officers’ uniforms.
