Circle of Excellence Awards Celebrate Leaders Under 40, while Lifetime Achievement Pays Homage to Established Executives
Omaha, NE, – The North-American Association of Uniform Manufacturers and Distributors (NAUMD) today announced the creation of two new awards programs designed to honor the contributions of both past and up-and-coming industry leaders.
The Circle of Excellence Under 40 Awards will recognize three individuals under the age of 40 that are the most accomplished young business women and men in the uniform industry who have been making headlines in their field and who share a commitment to business growth, professional excellence and to their community.
The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes one person that has given a lifetime of service to the uniform industry. This individual through their vision, attitude and work demonstrates a commitment to the uniform business that has spanned a career.
The Circle of Excellence and Lifetime Achievement Awards join a portfolio of well-established NAUMD programs that call attention to the important role uniforms – and uniform executives – play in the North-American marketplace. The Best Dressed Public Safety Competition, now in its 40th year, honors the best uniform programs worn by police, fire, sheriff departments and first responders; the Image of the Year Awards celebrate the the year’s top image apparel programs and the designers who created them.
Awards will be handed out on Tuesday, March 27, as part of a larger lineup of events happening during NAUMD’s annual convention. The 2018 Next Generation Leadership Convention will be held at the St. Louis Marriott Grand, St. Louis, MO, March 25 – 28, 2018. Online registration is now open for all attendees and exhibitors and can be accessed by visiting www.naumd.com.
