New Program Launch: Sales and Sales Leadership Certification

During the convention, NAUMD will launch its Sales and Sales Leadership Certification Program, a series of training courses designed to assist small and medium sized members in developing high-performance sales teams that consistently achieve business growth objectives. Individuals who complete the coursework will receive documented certification that will become acknowledged as an “industry standard” for superior competency in sales and sales leadership skills, a tool they can use to distinguish themselves and attract new business.

 

The initial coursework takes place in Orlando on Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1, and is broken into three sessions that focus on sales and sales management techniques.

The program concludes with an afternoon Town Hall, where attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and gain insights into proven sales strategies.

Here’s what to expect at each session:

 

At the opening session on Saturday, learn more about the certification process and how it can help grow your business. Participants will also learn sales basics, such as anchoring business relationships, overcoming objections and creating loyal customers.

 

Later that afternoon, learn the art of closing the deal. Explore the truth about successful selling and sales management techniques, and the 10 things you can do right now to close sales and maximize profits. If you want to be successful in business you have to learn how to sell, a fact facilitated by attending this seminar.

 

Sessions one and two will be presented by Jeb Blount, CEO of Sales Gravy.com. Blount has over 20 years experience in sales and marketing, and has coached, trained and developed hundreds of sales professionals, managers and leaders. He has extensive experience turning around and righting troubled organizations, and the unique ability to see potential in everyone.

 

At session three, Blount will provide a brief overview of the previous sessions before turning it over to Ty Swain of Growth Dynamics. Entitled, “Hiring and Motivating Star Sales Professionals/Being a Star,” this last session will concentrate on how to avoid hiring mistakes and how to attract and retail superstar sales professionals. If you’re a sales professional, you’ll learn how to build your brand, stand out from the competition and make yourself indispensible to your company.
