Eat fresh and look fresh.

The fusion of fast food and fashion is a trend that has been making waves lately, and it’s easy to see why: it’s a winning combination. The latest brand to make the leap from the kitchen to the catwalk is Subway, which just unveiled a high fashion-inspired campaign to showcase its new uniforms.

Made from recycled plastic bottles, the new uniforms are designed for the brand’s sandwich artists and managers, adding a touch of style to its eco-friendly new outfits. Teaming up with renowned fashion photographer Olivia Richardson, the campaign features “over-the-top aesthetics and artistic quirks” that are typical of high fashion campaigns.

With fun elements like cookie handbags and floating cups, the campaign is the result of an 18-month-long process to create the new uniforms. The fabric of each piece has been specially woven into a unique polyester blend that uses recycled plastic bottles and BCI cotton.

Louise Wardle, Vice President of Marketing EMEA at Subway, said: “We are very proud of these new uniforms and that we were able to make them using recycled materials and sustainably sourced BCI cotton.

Over the past few months, the brand has undergone some big changes, including a whole new way to Subway with our new Series menu, so we wanted to do something playful to launch the new uniforms. The tongue-in-cheek high-fashion style ‘dupe’ shoot was a great way to bring out Subway’s fun tone of voice and light-hearted brand positioning and show Subway in a whole new light.”
