Vantage Apparel Hires Former Retail Executive

As of Sept. 9, top 40 supplier Vantage Apparel has hired former retail apparel executive and former CEO of NewYorkDress.com and TheDressWareHouse.com, Marc Loeb, as its new chief operating officer. Loeb was responsible for streamlining operation expenses and renegotiating any domestic and international deals, as well as enhancing the company’s brand equity internationally. 

“Marc has an impressive zest for the apparel industry and has been a proven leader in shaping the direction of companies – from boosting online sales processes to innovations in operational efficiencies,” said Ira Neaman, president and CEO of Vantage. “Vantage led the industry when it offered single-piece decoration services to distributors, and with Marc’s vision, we’ll be able to bring even more innovations to market.”

Loeb will be in charge of leading Vantage’s production and customer experience teams.

Vantage Apparel is based in Avenel, NJ, and has been a part of the promotional apparel industry since 1977. The company operates more than 1,200 embroidery heads, among other equipment and single-vendor solutions for custom logoed apparel.

Vantage is currently ranked 33rd on the Counselor’s list of the largest suppliers in the apparel industry, with a reported promotional products revenue of $51.4 million in 2018. Company executives expect to see a 7% growth in revenue in 2019.
